As a native Chinese speaker, Olivia holds an MSc, QTS, and PGCE from the UK. Her expertise in Mandarin is demonstrated through her published HSK textbook and examiner work. After serving for nearly eight years as the Head of Chinese at a well-known all-boys school in Oxfordshire, where she achieved an excellent track record in GCSE/HSK exams and top university applications including Oxbridge, Olivia decided to work closer to her home in Cambridge from 2023.

Prior to her teaching career, Olivia worked in managerial roles in international recruitment in both Shanghai and London for Fortune 500 firms. Currently, she lives with her husband and child and offers "Mandarin Magic" Chinese clubs for primary schools, catering to pupils from years 3 to 8. Additionally, she continues to work as a senior examiner for two exam boards at GCSE and A level. Her good knowledge and experience in education and recruitment, supported by a strong network, have earned the trust of parents and students in assisting with school/university applications as well as early career applications.
